The Left Watch began with one idea: a watch deserves to be described as it is. We keep a small number of pieces, live with each of them, and write down only what we have seen.
Nothing here is a listing. Each page is a record of one watch — its dial, case, movement and bracelet — and the conversation that follows it.
Condition, provenance, and detail are described with care. Unverified facts remain unresolved.
Condition is described in three words at most and shown in the photographs rather than promised in the text. Where a fact cannot be verified — a service date, an original part — it is written as unresolved.
Every watch is opened before it is offered. The movement is photographed, timed and, when needed, serviced by a watchmaker we name.
Visits are arranged directly. Public hours are not currently published.
We are in Seoul and we see visitors by appointment. Write first, and we will suggest a time to sit with the watches you are curious about.

We ship worldwide from Seoul within two business days by UPS Express, insured for the full value and handed over against a signature. Duties and taxes at the destination are the buyer's.

A watch may come back within seven days of delivery, in the condition it was sent. Return shipping is the buyer's unless the watch was not as described — then it is ours.

Every watch leaves with our twelve-month mechanical warranty and a note of what was done to it before it was offered. Water resistance is never assumed on a vintage watch.
