The silver dial is the heart of this watch, its softly brushed centre and crisp black pad-printed numerals and lettering laid out with classic Art Deco clarity. Three concentric zones give the two-tone dial its depth: a bright silver centre, a darker silver-grey ring of full Arabic numerals, and a railroad minute track punctuated by bold five-minute markers. This original dial wears an evenly spread spotted patina that gives the face warm vintage character, while the edges of the USE ÖBERG FILES print remain sharp and clean. Slender blued sword hands sweep the dial while a fine needle hand turns in the concentrically grooved small-seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, all beneath a domed acrylic crystal.

FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE

A clean two-piece round case with a flat profile, plain casebands and a fixed, standard-width flat bezel frames the dial without distraction. The chrome-plated case contrasts a brushed bezel and lug tops with a polished caseband, and its stainless steel back follows the familiar vintage convention of a steel caseback fitted to a chromed middle case. Downturned lugs taper gracefully toward the wrist and are drilled through for standard spring bars, keeping strap changes simple. The solid snap-on caseback in stainless steel, finished with a neatly stepped rim, is stamped FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE.
